When planning a painting or work of art, do you focus more on composition, color theory or scheme, or your technique? (This is not a trick question, it's more like a poll.)
I focus more on the drawing and the way the parts relate to each other. Color is secondary as I'm also happy to work in monochrome. I'm trying to improve my painting techniques all the time. It's hard work. :)
