Who is your favorite artist and why?
In a previous post I described why Kim's favorite artist is Rembrandt. My favorite artist is Kandinsky, because he saw something beyond the literal. The shapes, color, line, texture & movement expressed meaning which began in the natural world and was transformed in Kandinsky's mind and manifested through his skill.
